AMS 2.50 Final::[solved] How do you submit an article?
1) Go to "administration menu"->AMS
2) Go to "Topic Manager" and create at least 1 topic. Make sure you set correct permission (Approve, Submit, View).
3) Go to Audience. Click at "Default", then select any Group that you want you want to allow to see the article. Or you can create new Audience type.
4) go to XOOPS_URL/module/AMS/submit.php. You also can click form "Main Menu"->Articles->Submit
5) Write your article there.

you need to change your XOOPS to UTF-8

here is guide from XOOPS.ORG how to change to UTF-8. However, you need to have XOOPS 2.3.x or above.

Upgrading a non UTF-8 site:
UTF-8 encoding has been introduced into XOOPS 2.3 as default charset. However, there might be some problems with converting existing websites from non UTF-8 charset to UTF-8.
Before there is a good enough solution for this conversion, following settings are recommended when you upgrade an existing website (if you are not an experienced user):
- Select "Do not change" option in "Database character set and collation" step during upgrade process
- Modify /languages/yourlanguage/global.php to use your previous _CHARSET value, if it has been changed to UTF-8 in your new global.php file as

You need to clear your xoops cache & template in order to see the changes.

The failure due to phppp Framework not exist in your installation. It come by dafault with XOOPS 2.3.x. Just install the framework and everything will be OK.

AMS 3.0 will be released soon....

There is no script available yet to automatically import similar XOOPS modules to AMS. However, if you know SQL, it should be a problem since you could manually insert it into AMS.

I do have plan to come out with the scripts, but maybe after i finished AMS 3.x development, since it will be a lot of SQL changes.

With some help from the xoops forum, I found that the character settings were not in order (utf 8)
