On the submit and edit pages, I the number of topics to choose from the dropdown seem to be limited to the topic id 1 thru topic id 29. No topics with an id of 30 or over will show.

I do see all the topics listed in the main navigation page.

Any one? Anyone?

Hello,

I feel being AMS woul be even better if I was able to:

- choose whether the count for number of posts in a topic is inclusive the posts in the subtopics or not (many of my topics now have 0 posts whilst completely filled with subtopics with many posts)

- layout the position of topics and sub topics as now they appear next to each other what does not look very nice

- have a post article button (or option for) on the page itself for I use a custom menu

kind regards,
Antoon.

Hi,

I'm running xoops 2.3.3 and ams 2.51. On initial install, I made a few topics and they all seem fine.

However, I added another topic today and although it shows up in the "News Topics" dropdown up at the top, it does not show up in the submit article dropdown menu.

I took a quick look at the code but it wasn't clear to me how each of those dropdowns parses the list of topics. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I assume the code for each is identical, so they should execute identically. I'm stumped as to why the new topic shows up in the navigator but not in the submit article page.

templates_c is empty, and template checking is turned on - although this should not affect my issue.

when you create a new topic you must verify if you have submit permissions for that topic.
Only the topics you are allowed to submit to can be selected on the edit page of an article.

Correct jobrazo..

openschemes:
AMS only display topic that that person have permission to submit on submit page. Make sure you set correct permission.

thintzmann
I think your problem same as openschemes. Jusy need to set correct permission. I tried to create > 30 topic and everything is fine in my system (xoops 2.0, xoops 2.2, xoops 2.3, php4, php5)
